Travis Marion was very knowledgeable and helpful when he came to evaluate my boiler/on -demand water heater and radiant heat system. He answered all of my questions and went above and beyond the expected work. Travis was very thorough in inspecting the electrical, combustion and plumbing aspects of the systems. His estimate gave three levels of “need” “should” and “ideal” improvements.

Danny and his team did a Great job replacing out Hot Water Heater today. Paul and Scott did the actual job, they worked together very well and completed the work expediently. Paul showed me how to operate it after it was installed and Scott kept me informed along the way. They left the area in a neat clean condition and took all old parts with them. The did a great job and wasted no time.

Isaac knows geothermal systems so well. He adjusted ours quickly and explained the process.

Shawn from Blue Valley recently came by and replaced the mounts for our filters so that we could use thinner filters. He also did a maintenance at this time. Shawn was super friendly and explained everything he was doing. He was done within an hour and our furnace is humming along just fine.

Update February 10, 2026. Andrew came out to perform routine maintenance on our heater. He was prompt, professional and clearly explained what he was going to do. He provided an excellent report out when his work was complete and left the equipment looking cleaner than when he had arrived. He also too care to keep his work area clean.

We had a full AC/Furnace replacement, 2 old water heaters replaced with a tankless, and added a ductless AC to our 2nd floor west facing master bedroom. Anthony and Gabe did a FANTASTIC job. They are friendly, easy to talk to, work long and hard, take care to clean up their mess, and protect our home from damage. Anthony in particular did a great job straightening and aligning the line covers from the ductless AC on the exterior of our house, and the piping into the tankless water heater is very nicely laid out. They explained the functioning of all of the new equipment. I highly recommend Blue Valley and Anthony and Gabe based on my experience.

Despite having a very atypical furnace install, they made things right and stand behind their word. Isaac is a standout among their service people. Very knowledgeable, kind and thorough in all that he does. The owner Brandon seems to treat his employees as extended family and this attitude trickles down to us as customers. It’s a rare find these days in a business that puts doing the right thing over profits.

Travis showed up on time, diagnosed the problem quickly as the furnace igniter, had a part on the truck, and finished the repair in a total of 20 minutes. Fast, efficient, and friendly service on a Sunday! I highly recommend!

Danny, the project manager, was amazing to work with—he took the time to clearly explain pricing, materials, and scheduling, and really helped me choose the right heat pump for my budget. I don’t often leave reviews until all the work is done but here goes. My furnace is 35+ years old and it failed to deliver warm air about a week ago. On a whim I called Blue Valley, a company I had not used before even though reviews are extremely mixed on Yelp, BBB, and Google (it seems that people either loved them or hated them). It seems as though the company has merged or been through several name changes (Blue Valley Energy/Blue Valley Heating and Cooling/Blue Valley Heating, Cooling and Plumbing etc etc) too which may be why some reviews seem outdated.
Although it was Saturday, Denise dispatched Chris who came out that afternoon and changed out a thermocouple and warm air was flowing as usual when he left. However, two days later, there was the same problem. I called again and Mez came out. He spent some time diagnosing the problem which seemed to be everything but honestly, I was not surprised. My blower had loose ball bearings. My gas exchanger was cracked and not exchanging the propane. My furnace was rusting on the inside and had a build up of carbonate. I feel like it was just the failing of every component once one goes. I’m sort of like me when I approached 60 years of age. Ha ha
Both Mez and Chris offered several solutions, and I agreed it was time for a new furnace on the second visit. Danny came out and assessed my house for a new furnace, keeping in mind that I would like it to be relocated to a more accessible location as I am nearing retirement age. No more climbing into or sliding through crawl spaces for me. He asked my preferences and did seem to be trying to keep my budget in mind. Danny gave me an estimate which I had my two (more knowledgeable DIY) neighbors look over. They agreed it seemed reasonable for what I was asking for but more importantly they asked if I trusted the company. I do know that I trusted Chris and Mez when they were repairing my problems and time will tell if I can trust Danny. I do get a solid feeling of genuine willingness (from everyone that I talked to in the company) to go the extra mile for me as a customer. I will update this review when the furnace has been installed and running for a week or so.

We had a new hot water heater installed. Casey did a great job. This is our second project with Blue Valley and I would hire them again!
