Blue Valley was on my list to get quotes from and I am far from disappointed. Cameron was up front with requirements and showed me the load j calculations for my home to show me what my requirements are vs up-selling to a pricier unit. Quite frankly Cameron was up front as far as vendors, pricing, etc which stood out to me from the 4 other quotes I got from separate well rated companies in the area to include big names. Cameron was down to earth and didn't sugarcoat his numbers or try to sell why Blue Valley was the best, etc (which I'm now convinced they are due to the install portion below).The install portion went great! Gerardo and Ervey did the full retrofit in 2 days and to be completely honest, I am impressed with their work. From the drainage work to the exhaust/intake piping flowing in line with each other, etc has made this an install that's as picky/detailed as I would do on my own house as an engineer by trade.I honestly can't find any faults or drawbacks to the way they installed the system, and has been a pleasure to not only use, but look at as well. These two installers are definitely at the top of their peers when it comes to a quality retrofit. You can tell no corners were cut at any point of the install.If you prefer to do your own research online via forums, reddit, companies, etc, they'll all give you different prices and quotes for different sized systems. This Bosch heat pump unit was sized very similar to a couple others, which leads me to believe it's correct, vs other longmont based companies pushing Trane and quoting me a 6 ton unit vs the original 4 ton which is already oversized for my needs based on sq ft.All I can say is Blue Valley will be getting all my work in the future and I couldn't be happier with the customer service, install, or performance of the system they installed.

We had our boiler replaced and their crew had a very professional attitude with attention to detail in all aspects of the project. They cleaned up the work site every night and even worked late to get the heat back on before the weekend.They have had to do some follow-up work on the venting. "G" was very thorough and checked every aspect of the boileroperations before they left. I am very happy with the way they left the job site, very clean and neat. They pointed out the changes they made and took me through all the issues. I'm very pleased with their work.11/11/24While doing some maintenance work on our new boiler Jason found some issue with it's operation. He worked with their office. Got the repairs made and returned to follow up on how the operation changed. It is now functioning at 100% and ready for the winter. He coordinated all the work and the follow-up. This was all done under warranty. I'm very pleased with the response and will be using Blue Valley in the future.

Blue Valley was excellent from start to finish. Cameron presented us with multiple furnace options, the pros and cons of each, answered all our questions, and let us decide which option was best for us. He explained the improvements we should see with our new system and we have experienced them all. Deegan and Joe, our installers, spent the entire day working to complete the install so we had heat that evening. The install was excellent and we have had no issues. 10 year warranty on parts and labor is fantastic as well. Definitely recommend Blue Valley to anyone looking for a furnace.

I had a repair visit for my old Slant Fin boiler this morning. I met with Eric Scharrer, who was absolutely wonderful. He diagnosed my two problems (i.e., fried vent damper motor and Honeywell aquastat) quickly. Eric has had many years of experience in boiler installations. He was kind, easy to work with, and gave me total confidence in what he was recommending. I would strongly recommend him to anyone.

Recommended by a neighbor, I worked recently with BV on a new boiler system for radiant floor heat. Team was great - shout out to John (on diagnosis) and Josh, Austin and Mason (on install). Blue Valley Heating and Cooling recently came out to do an annual maintenance on our boiler that was installed last year. Jason Baker was the technician and I canโ€™t say enough good things about him! Professional. Courteous. And knowledgeable! He had to troubleshoot a minor issue and got it solved straight away. Then proceeded to do an entire system check to insure everything was functioning properly. We feel fortunate to have Blue Valley Heating and Cooling and their crew take care of our heating needs!

A very good experience with Blue Valley. John was conscientious in giving us options. Given how expensive HVAC units can be, Blue Valley was reasonable in its pricing. Josh and Mason were pros: hard working, great attitude, knowledgeable, thorough.

We purchased a mobile home in July that had a 7 year old single-stage gas furnace with air conditioning. It wasn't keeping up with cooling when the outdoor temp was over 90หšF. Another company performed a duct cleaning and that's when we found that our ducts were leaky, exhausting 10-20% of our conditioned air into the belly and crawlspace! We called Blue Valley, our nearest HVAC company, and they sent Cameron out to evaluate our needs. He came equipped with technology to accurately map our home and provide data-driven analysis of what it would take to maintain 72หš year-round. We discussed options and settled on a four-head mini split system by LG, taking advantage of their 24 month interest-free financing.Josh and Mason just finished the installation. They were fantastic to work with, keeping us in the loop at every step, locking up the house when we needed to go out, they took great care not to damage our walls or floors, and cleaned up after themselves. They were also welcoming of questions and ideas for special trim-out needs.We look forward to years of efficient and quiet comfort, and the increased value this upgrade brings to our home.

Tom, Degan and the team were excellent. My mini-split was installed exactly as and where Iโ€™d hoped, and is going to make my pole-barn usable throughout the year. The team proactively communicated whenever there were challenges (and overcame them). The space was left clean when they were done, too. Thank you for the great work!

Our multiple experiences we've had with Blue Valley have been great. Friendly and knowledgeable technicians. Cameron managed our project, and was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable the entire time. Josh and Mason were our technicians who installed our furnaces and heat pump over 3 days. They were professional, friendly, and timely. Our new systems are working great now. Would highly recommend!

Iโ€™m happy to have found this company to handle an upgrade to a heat pump water heater. The work is not scheduled yet, but so far the process has gone well. Cameron performed the estimate and took a lot of time to explain the technology and the process for installation. Going from a traditional natural gas water heater to an electric heat pump will have some additional up front costs but will save energy on an annual basis, hopefully offsetting the extra costs. The federal, state and utility incentives will also help lower the upfront cost. Iโ€™m also considering an upgrade to heat pump technology for HVAC and Blue Valley provided an estimate for that as well. Again, Cameron was thorough in explaining how this would work in my house, pros and cons of making a change, and assessed my current system. I havenโ€™t felt pressure from anyone at this company as they have been transparent about all the things I need to consider for making this decision. I had a handful of follow up questions before making this decision to move forward with the water heater and Cameron was quick to do research for me so I could make sure that I had all the necessary info. Iโ€™ll follow up on this review as the install gets done.

Ervy and Gerardo of Blue Valley Heating and Cooling were professional, knowledgeable, and communicative. Explained every step of installation. Also, pre-installation worked with Cameron and Olga. We waited 45 years to upgrade to air conditioning using ductless mini-split Mitsubishi components. It was well worth the wait to get the latest technology.

I donโ€™t normally take the time to write reviews, but I whole heartedly recommend Blue Valley Heating & Cooling if you need any type of HVAC work. Our 15 year old system was failing and in need of total replacement. Unfortunately, our system did not use standard HVAC equipment, which meant replacing it would not be straightforward. After checking out several contractors, I felt comfortable going with Blue Valley and had a good rapport with my estimator Cameron. On the first day of install we discovered a problem, apparently, we did not have conventional thermostat wiring run to our 5 separate zones and the equipment we were about to install was not going to work. Fortunately, Blue Valley was able to quickly find another brand of equipment that would work with our existing control system and got it delivered the next day. Our lead installers (Gerardo and Primo) did an amazing job, and worked really hard to get everything installed on time despite having to change equipment on day 2 of the install. They had to drill through multiple concrete walls in order to run the new refrigeration lines to our new outside condenser, and that was no easy task. Overall, Iโ€™m really impressed with the job that they did, the responsive communication, and how clean the installation looks. If you are in the market for a new HVAC, I donโ€™t think you can go wrong with Blue Valley Heating & Cooling. Highly recommended!

Jason Baker, from Blue Valley, came twice to my house today. First, to give me an estimate to replace my 20-year-old water heater and again to replace the water heater. He was not only a great technician, but a polite, reliable young man with a sweet Louisiana accent. Called me "ma'am" all day, just like a good Southern boy should. I have nothing but praise for him. We had an AC blower fan motor failure and I called another local company to inspect and diagnose. After two weeks and five phone calls, I was told that parts were not ordered and there was no timeline for fixing the unit. I called Blue Valley and they had a HVAC tech out (Jason Baker) within the hour, inspected, conducted diagnostics on the system, and located a replacement blower fan motor within about an hour. I received a call the next day that Jason and new motor were on the way over. My system was up and cooling within 24 hours from my initial call to Blue Valley. They are local, professional, experienced, communicative, and client focused. Jason was highly experienced and walked me through the diagnostics, describing what should be happening during start up etc. and made sure I understood what happened to the unit and how it would be rectified. I ended up learning a lot about my system and heating and cooling in general. It was a super positive experience and I highly recommend Jason and Blue Valley to everyone.

Josh and Tom from Blue Valley did an outstanding job installing our new LG heat pump water heater. The installation was neat and tidy, and the space was cleaner than before they started. I also spoke to Eric about eventually replacing our boiler. He's more knowledgeable than most about heat pumps and hydronics, and was honest about the tradeoffs.Update: we've been having a small issue with the LG water heater where it's not maintaining its set point. John Loos has been here twice and has worked diligently with the LG support team. We're still not there, but Blue Valley are standing behind their product and are putting in the time to make it right.

Excellent and efficient service with friendly people on the phone and in-person. I called to have my furnace serviced for the first time at my newly purchased house. The scheduling was easy and service very timely. The testing done was interesting, the explanations helpful, and good options were presented. Iโ€™m looking forward to working with them on other needed house servicing and upgrades now and in the future.

We hired Blue Valley to install a new boiler in our 1960s ranch. Before choosing Blue Valley, we did our homework, collecting bids from six contractors, looking for high customer ratings and an a reasonable price. Blue Valley provided both. They not only offered the most competitive price (a bid from a competitor came back at $6000 more for the exact same unit), but they also offered competitive financing. The installers were on time, worked efficiently and clearly took pride in their work. I was comfortable with the installers in my home. Replacing a boiler was unexpected. Thanks to Blue Valley, the process was a positive one. I would not hesitate to recommend Blue Valley to my family, friends, and neighbors

These guys are fantastic to work with. We had an AC issue late Saturday afternoon on a super hot day, and Kevin was at our house first thing the next morning. We have been using Blue Valley for many years now. We have had them replace our furnace, install AC and also a humidifier in our home. They have always been dependable and helpful. Blue Valley was the only contractor to show up on time to perform the site inspection and quote as well as installation of our air conditioning system. Blue Valleyโ€™s quote was unambiguous and lower than their competition. They were also able to schedule our installation rapidly at the height of summer, providing us the cooling relief we expected. The system has been in for several weeks now and is working great, and we feel we made the correct choice in selecting Blue valley to work in our home.

We were informed by a home inspector that gas was detected around our boiler. We called Blue Valley and they sent out a technician a few hours later. The technician, Chad, inspected the boiler and our issues were resolved quickly. He was very pleasant, professional and answered every question with patience. Chad is very knowledgeable and politely educated me about every working piece of our boiler system. We’re moving into a new home in a few weeks and I’ll most certainly call Blue Valley again for some remodeling work we have planned.

Blue Valley was hired to install a Geothermal climate control for us. We have been very happy about the whole process and Blue Valley has done a great job. They were fast to deliver on our agreed timeframe and always helpful with our questions. Their work on our home was so impressive that we have recommended them to several neighbors. They included us in the process and gave us options to choose between. They paid attention to detail and were very concerned with how the project looked after completion. They have been outstanding to work with all the way from the first contact to after the project was finished. I will not hesitate to use them for my service in my new home. I recommend Blue Valley for both installation and service without hesitation.

We were looking at alternative energy sources. We didnโ€™t want to have an air conditioner anymore and we also wanted to stop using natural gas. So we heard about it a little bit but we didnโ€™t know much about it, so we started doing some research and looked at a couple different companies and went with Blue Valley.

They were really good about coming up with 3 or 4 different plans for how to do it. It was nice to have options because it put it in a ballpark for what was affordable for us. It also gave us thoughts for what we could do for the future. They really worked with us to make it [geothermal] work for us now.

We got a letter from the energy company, Xcel. And they said, โ€œWe notice you are not using much gas right nowโ€โ€ฆ Yea we donโ€™t need it anymore. We had two alternatives. One, they rip out the lines completely. The other, that they cut off the meters. A few days later, they came out and cut off the meters.

Blue Valley Heating & Cooling provides fantastic service! They are very friendly and dependable! I called them out to perform an annual inspection and maintenance of our A/C. Long story short, it was leaking water where it shouldn’t have been. They did a great job diagnosing the problem and fixing the minor issue in no time flat! The tech also gave me some preventative tips so I wouldn’t run into the same issue again. I appreciate the service and will be using them again

We recently moved and bought a house with a geothermal system that we didn’t understand, so we called Blue Valley Heating & Cooling. They helped to put in the system and were great, explaining how it worked and doing the maintenance–and we’ve had them ever since.
